Collage is a low stakes, high reward technique for producing brilliant artwork. No need to draw, just let your scissors do the work. Have a rummage through Alex’s wide selection of papers and card and snip and glue your way to some creative mini artworks.

About the event
Cutting and sticking different papers and cards, using images from old books, tickets, maps and more and combining them in surprising ways is so much fun. You will explore the work of some well known collage artists before making your own mini artworks. Using a wide range of found and handpainted papers, Alex support and guide you in your creations. Absolutely no experience necessary, collage is the perfect technique to encourage playfulness and spark new ideas and there’s no need to stick anything down until you're completely happy. All levels of experience welcomed and encouraged! Any questions, please do ask.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the workshop.
