Come and join us for a fun evening exploring collage. Suitable for absolute beginners, I’ll give you some ideas and provide plenty of different papers and images for you to create your own mini artworks. There’s no wrong way to collage, just get some scissors and play with colour pattern and shape. Lots of inspiration provided and no experience needed! Enjoy getting creative and learn a new skill with something gorgeous to take home with you at the end to fancy up your home or give as a lovely gift. Plus cake and coffee, what’s not to like?! About me: I’m Alex, an artist/printmaker with lots of experience delivering fun and creative workshops for children and adults. In my work I use lots of bright colours and love working with print processes that require a bit of problem solving. The aim is to make some artworks that bring people a bit of joy! I love sharing my skills and encouraging people to explore their creative side - art doesn’t have to be difficult, it really is for everyone! No experience needed, the workshop is suitable for complete beginners. All materials and tuition will be provided. The 2 hour workshop will start at 7pm at A House of Cake, High Street, Wellington and the ticket price includes a hot drink and one of their delicious cakes. The workshop will be relaxed and friendly so perfect to come alone or bring a friend. All welcome. :)
