Come and create some freaky beasts with me! We’ll be learning how to make relief prints of our own strange animals - horse’s head with a fish’s body or a snail with wings - whatever weird and wonderful things you can conjure up! Suitable for ages 6 and up - parents are welcome to stay.

About the event
Dive into the world of relief printmaking and craft bold and eye catching prints of your very own freaky beasts whether inspired by real animals or your own imagination. Alex will guide you through the process of creating your relief printmaking plate, adding texture and pattern and inking it up to pull successful prints you’ll be proud to take home! All workshops in the pop-up shop will be small groups so perfect for getting lots of expert tuition in a short time! Please arrive five minutes before the workshops starts so that we can get going promptly.
About the workshop leader: Alex is a Wellington-based artist and printmaker, specialising in linocut prints. She is a qualified teacher and experienced workshop leader for both children and adults.
